Wellness Program for those with Cancer
YMCA Survivorship & Wellness Program Powered by Moffitt is a free, 12-week program that offers support, guidance and personal training from certified cancer wellness coaches. It focuses on physical and social activities for patients before, during and after cancer treatment. This program is open to anyone who has ever been diagnosed and treated for cancer.
In addition to the physical benefits of the initiative, survivors and family members are provided a supportive community where people impacted by cancer can connect during treatment and beyond. By focusing on spirit, mind and body, the YMCA Survivorship & Wellness Program Powered by Moffitt helps participants move beyond cancer, building muscle and strength, increasing flexibility and endurance as well as improving confidence and self-esteem.
