Join the Tampa Y and choose the best membership type for your family. A Two Person or Family Membership includes each camper as a member, a requirement to receive special member rates for Summer Camp. After the membership transaction is complete, sign up for camp at the member-exclusive discount on camp and programs throughout the year!

This camp is perfect for water lovers who want days filled with pool games and classic camp fun. Campers will enjoy new water activities plus team building, character development and arts and crafts. Campers must be able to pass the YMCA Swim Test and should bring sunscreen, a swimsuit and a towel each day.

Summer Golf Camp 

For ages 6-17, beginners and advanced golfers alike will work on their skills under the guidance of professional golf instructors and First Tee counselors. Emphasis will be on helping campers acquire and hone the skills needed to play great golf. Activities will include golf skill stations, contests, special events and on-course play. These camps will also focus on teaching First Tee Life Skills Experience, which also includes our Nine Core Values and Nine Healthy Habits. Snacks & Lunch will be provided by the camp. Campers do NOT need their own golf clubs, but they are welcome to bring them if they have them.

Open Doors Financial Assistance

Because our community is strongest when we all participate together, financial assistance is available for Summer Camp. When applying for Open Doors, rates are set by a sliding fee scale, based on income. Scholarships are possible because of generous donations to the Tampa Y Annual Campaign. Contact the YMCA location(s) the child(ren) plan to attend camp to receive an application.

Annual Enrollment Fees

Beginning May 16, 2026, Annual Enrollment Fees are as follows (due at sign up):

  • YMCA members: $20 per child – campers must also be members to receive member camp rates
  • Non-members: $45 per child
