At the Tampa Metropolitan YMCA, we have personal training regularly available to our members. We understand that our members have a variety of health and wellness needs and goals, so we are proud to offer various one-on-one programs that ensure we can accommodate these needs and help each individual meet their goals. We also have a wide variety of group fitness classes available, which are included in your membership fees as well. We invite all of our friends in the Westchase, Fishhawk, Tampa Palms, Bloomingdale and surrounding areas to come see what our certified staff can do for you.


One-on-One Training


One-on-one sessions with our personal trainers are a great way to meet your goals. These sessions are molded to fit your individual needs. Whether you want to lose weight, build and tone muscle or just improve your overall health and stamina, our staff will help you along the way. We will help you get the most from your workouts by teaching proper techniques and building a program customized for you using free weights, treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, exercise machines and more.


Buddy Training


We also offer personal training for you and a few friends. While we try to offer as much personal attention as possible during group fitness classes, this option allows you more one-on-one time with our certified personal trainers, since you are working with just a few other participants. Working out with friends can also greatly increase accountability and motivation.
