The Tampa Y Hosts Biggest Turkey Gobble Yet!

TAMPA, FLA. (November 28, 2023) More than 4,000 participants came together on November, 2023 - Thanksgiving morning - to run and walk our 9th Annual Turkey Gobble road race, which is our largest one to date raising over $110,000! The event was held by Amelie Arena and presented by AdventHealth.

Tampa Bay YMCAs Collaborate to Prevent Falls Among Older Adults

TAMPA, FLA (Sept. 7, 2023) September is Fall Prevention Month and Tampa Bay YMCAs are coming together to help seniors in our communities. Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA, YMCA of the Suncoast and YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg are each hosting the Healthy Steps for Older Adults (HSOA) free program, which is an evidence-based fall risk screening and education class for adults ages 65 and older.
