Grandma Time!

Brenda & her grandson, BryceLayla’s House has been a true blessing for Brenda and her two year old grandson Bryce. After hearing about the many programs offered at the Y’s new Early Childhood Education Center in Sulphur Springs, the two visited the facility. Brenda cares for her grandson every day and felt the staff and programs at Layla’s House would help her to accomplish many of her goals for Bryce’s development. The Caring and Learning with Me program supports toddlers and their caregivers through structured play, learning opportunities, and providing a healthy meal twice per week. Brenda says that Bryce’s “social skills, attention span, and communication skills have excelled.” In addition, she feels that the program updated her parenting skills and that participation in the program will help Bryce to have an easier transition into a pre-school environment. “I cannot say enough about the staff at Layla’s House. Their level of professionalism truly creates an environment of caring and sharing.”

Opened in early 2012, Layla’s House is an early learning center for families and children ages five and under. For more information on Layla’s House and the Caring and Learning with Me Program, contact Sylvia Hubbard 813-275-9622, ext. 288.
