Summer camps at the Y focus on nurturing the potential of children and helping them grow in spirit, mind and body. We encourage fun and friendship and provide the opportunity for young people to build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills and make lasting memories. Summer camp also provides kids with the things they need to succeed in school by providing engaging, hands-on education-based activities that help kids avoid summer learning loss.Plus, our highly qualified staff receive over 40 hours of preparation prior to interacting with campers and are CPR certified. Friendly staff, well organized, great cost, variety of activities, my kids LOVED it! This is our first summer participating but will certainly not be our last. Excellent program! The camps are great, the staff are phenomenal, and my daughter really enjoys herself.
My daughter loves going to camp! This is our 2nd summer at YMCA camp and we wouldn’t send her anywhere else. Plus it’s reasonably priced! Camp counselors are great role models, it’s a fantastic atmosphere for my little one! I feel confident when I drop my son off in the morning that he is safe and is going to have a full, active and fun day.
