Afterschool programs at the Y are more than a safe place for your child. Our program nurtures a child’s potential, ensuring the development of healthy, trusting
relationships that build confidence and character. Available for children in grades K-5, all of our afterschool programs provide a range of activities, including:

Academic enrichment and homework help
Structured activities that provide kids with physical activity outside
Hands-on, engaging activities to do inside
Healthy snacks
Arts and crafts

Leader and Boy

For your convenience, we are located at the following Hillsborough County elementary schools:

Alafia*, Anderson, Baycrest, Caminiti*, Carrollwood, Citrus Park*, Essrig, Forest Hills, Frost, Gorrie, Grady, Ippolito,
Lake Magdalene, Lavoy, Limona, Mitchell, Morgan Woods, Nelson, Northwest, Pinecrest, Pizzo, Riverhills,
Roosevelt*, Seffner, Sessums, Tampa Palms, Town ‘n Country and Twin Lakes.

*These sites also offer before school care for $15/week.

Program costs include an annual $40 registration fee per child (no registration fee for current YMCA facility members). Weekly rates are $52 for one child, $48 for each additional sibling. The Y believes every child deserves the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected and secure. To ensure this, we provide financial aid to families in need on a case-by-case basis.
