We offer several great ways to save money on your Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA membership.

 

Refer a Friend, Get a Month Free

Pick up a Friend Referral Card at the Welcome Center, write your name and membership ID number (found on your membership card) and give to a friend. Tell them to bring the card when they join any Tampa YMCA, and we'll make sure you get a free month! You can also pick up cards at your YMCA Welcome Center.

 

Financial Assistance

As a not-for-profit charitable organization, the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA strives to make membership and programs accessible to all, regardless of their financial circumstances. Through the generosity of donors to our Annual Giving Campaign, financial assistance is available for membership and program fees.

 

To apply for financial assistance, please bring proof of your total household income. We prefer a copy of your most recent tax return; we will refer to line #4 on the 1040EZ, line #22 on the 1040 long form, or Schedule C if you’re self employed. Please contact your local branch if you have questions about the approval process.
