What we are:
Family Child Care PLUS Promotes Leadership, Understanding, and Support for licensed family child care home providers throughout Hillsborough County. Family Child Care PLUS is funded by the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County and is administered by the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA. The goal of Family Child Care PLUS is to assist providers in achieving and maintaining high standards of care and education for the children and families they serve.

What we offer:
Family Child Care PLUS offers many different levels of participation for providers. In home and telephone HELPline, Intensive Technical Assistance, Training, Scholarships for National Credentials.

How to request assistance:
Family Child Care PLUS support programs are available to all licensed family child care providers needing support and resources. To reach us, call 275-9622 ext 235.

Family Child Care Technical Assistance (FCC-TA)
The FCC-TA program assists individuals in South and East Hillsborough County in becoming licensed family child care home providers by offering technical and financial assistance to achieve the level of quality required for Hillsborough County licensing.
