Who We Are: The YMCA manages this collaborative of community agencies who provide prevention and early intervention services relative caregivers who have children at risk of entering the child welfare system due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. Our Mission: To minimize the risk of out-of-home placements for children by strengthening systems which provide support and guidance for relative caregivers and the children in their care. Partners Kinship Services are designed to support relative caregivers and the children who reside with them to successfully maintain the relative placement. Through Kinship Services families receive a specialized family support plan and access to services.
Our Community Partners Include: The Children’s Home, Family Enrichment Center, Bay Area Legal Services, and REACHUP Our Funders Include: Children’s Board of Hillsborough County and United Way Suncoast Our Partners of Hillsborough YMCA Staff include: Mary Ann Kershaw, Program Director
Cecillia Carothers, Intake Specialist Our Referral Process: Partners accepts referrals for Kinship Services from the community and is open to working with any relative caregiver who resides in Hillsborough County.
